1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the AVN (Activities, Venues & Namibia) platform, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our platform.

2. Use of Platform

2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and make bookings. If you are under 18, you must use our platform under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

2.2 Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

3. Bookings and Payments

3.1 Booking Process

All bookings made through AVN are subject to availability and confirmation by the event organizer or venue. A booking is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation email with your e-ticket.

3.2 Payment Terms

• All prices are displayed in Namibian Dollars (NAD) unless otherwise stated
• Payment must be made in full at the time of booking
• We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and mobile money payments
• Additional fees may apply for certain payment methods

3.3 Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation policies vary by event and organizer. Please review the specific cancellation policy for each booking. Generally:

• Cancellations made 7+ days before the event: Full refund minus 10% service fee
• Cancellations made 3-6 days before: 50% refund
• Cancellations made less than 3 days before: No refund
• Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
• Transmit any harmful code, viruses, or malicious software
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
• Engage in any form of automated data collection (scraping, bots)

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the AVN platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, and software, is the property of AVN or its content suppliers and is protected by Namibian and international copyright laws.

6. Limitation of Liability

AVN acts as an intermediary between users and event organizers/venues. We are not responsible for:

• The quality, safety, or legality of events or activities listed
• The accuracy of event descriptions or organizer information
• Any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during events
• Event cancellations or changes made by organizers
• Disputes between users and organizers
